We had Grandma Lee stay with us one more night before she flew out. I decided to take her up American Fork canyon for a quick drive. The first time she was here she was so sick that she didn't enjoy her trip up there. Well, we started driving and went up past Tibble Fork reservoir and I figured since we were up there we ought to go further and see the sights. Anyway, I turned up a dirt road that was VERY rocky. We drove on that road going only between 10-20 mph for about 30 min. After the really bumpy ride and some gorgeous sights, we ended up at Silver Lake Flat. (that is the picture below here...) Come to find out it was clear up at 7200 ft. Cedar Hills is at about 5200 ft. What a climb!!
I think I freeked Grandma out just a little. Her side of the car was on the outside edge looking down the mountain while we were driving up.

Wow! It looks beautiful up there! I'd love to go sometime! Those are great pictures! I like that picture of Grandma Lee! Did she make it home alright? ;oD
We do live in a beautiful part of the world, don't we?! It's so great that we don't have to drive very long to enjoy the beautiful scenery!
