Clean up day at our house! We had to get all the wonderful leaves off the ground before the snow falls. I enlisted Derek and sometimes Korbin to help me rake and pick up the leaves. Derek was a great help and Korbin, well, was Korbin. He had fun playing in the leaves. Love my boys!!

Happy Birthday Korbin!!! I can't believe my baby is 1!!! This last year has gone by so fast and it's crazy to think he is already a year old. For his "birthday dinner" we had his favorite food (spaghetti) and some ice cream cake after. It took a while to get him to even try the cake! We got started a little late because Kenley had class and didn't get home until 7. Korbin was ornery by then and didn't really want to comply with cute birthday pictures. So, here are some pictures, there are some of him looking really sad. We went to a SUU alumni bbq along the Provo river just barely up Provo canyon. The boys had fun playing Frisbee and running around being silly. They sure enjoyed the watermelon as well.
We finally got some hot weather so the boys could play in the pool. Last fall I bought a little baby pool for Korbin but the bigger pool took forever to fill and the boys were actually kind of patient waiting for it. Korbin LOVES the water!! He had so much fun and thoroughly enjoyed himself. Konner and Derek put a slide in their pool and turned it into a pretty fun pool. Derek had a neighbor friend (Joseph) over and they had a blast together too!

Cherries!! We have had SO many cherries on our little cherry tree in our back yard! I wont climb up that huge ladder, so I waited for Kenley to have time to get up in the tree and pick some cherries. We picked about 20 lbs or so that day. We bagged them up and Konner and Derek sat outside on the curb for a few days afterward and sold some cherries. They didn't sell all of them, but they sold quite a bit. Even the boys thought it would be really cool to climb the tree and the ladder and pick their own for mommy and daddy.
One evening (about 8 or so..) Konner ran in the house and said there was a really pretty rainbow outside on the mountain and that I needed to take pictures of it. So I grabbed my camera and we went outside. It was a pretty one, he was right again. On the way back inside the house we could hear Korbin crying. He was waiting at the back door for us. So sad with big tears and all. He's a lot of drama some times...but all sweet little boy.

As promised, more AF canyon pictures. Grandma and Grandpa couldn't wait to see it as well! Love you two! By the way, who are those cute kids!! :-)
Our family loves this time of year. Among other things, we get to spend some time up American Fork canyon together. We renew our little yearly pass and spend a little time walking the trails, having picnics and of course mommy taking pictures. ;-) It is SO beautiful almost any time of year. Right now the river is running very fast and strong, and the boys love going over every bridge that we know of to see the water. I'm sure you'll see more canyon pictures soon...Grandma and Grandpa are coming up. Korbin loves to take baths! He loves to just sit in the water, laughs and splashes and splashes. I swear he and his brothers are part fish. ( Fishes that can't swim yet any way... ) But they all love to take their baths and play in the water. Doesn't matter really where the water is, Konner and Derek will be in it.
The new craze at our house, courtesy of Konner and his Kindergarten friends, is Pokemon cards. Konner and Derek get to earn their cards and like to do "battle" together with them. One day after school, Konner left his cards down where Korbin could reach them, and Korbin just sat right down and looked through Konner's card collection. He never takes them out or bends them, just looks through the book over and over again. It is sure cute watching him look through the book.

Here is our budding athlete. Konner wanted to play baseball this year. They didn't have T-ball, so we are playing Coach Pitch. It's been kinda fun (and frustrating) watching Konner learn to play baseball. We started out with mommy trying to teach him how to catch. But at their "games", I quickly learned that hitting is all they really need to know how to do at this point. We are still working on hitting too. Konner is gonna be a great athlete someday. :-)

~HAPPY BIRTHDAY KONNER!!~
I can't believe my little man is 6!! We had a family "party" after his friend party, but here are some pictures from both. Kylee brought a date, and Sara and Alan came down. Kylee and Konner got to both blow out the candles because Konner's birthday is on April 8 and Kylee's on the 10th. Korbin had a blast with the cupcakes. He really made a mess too..

When the weather is nice we really enjoy being outside in our own yard. We have such a pretty yard and the we all enjoy it. Here are some pictures from our yard and of course of Derek and Korbin. I really love the blossoms and the mountains in the same shot. Pretty!!

I have to thank my sister Andrea for letting me in on the picture collage thing. It is SO cool!!! Thanks Stan!
We had a semi-nice day back on the first of April so the boys talked me into letting them ride bikes. Of course I talked them into bundling up. I think it actually did snow later that day though... go figure, April fools day. hahaha.

One (out of a few..) good thing about Kenley graduating from SUU, is that the Alumni association holds get togethers every once in a while. We usually don't keep the e-mails the invites come in, but this time we went to the Utah Flash game at UVU in Orem. The Flash are the D-Leauge team for the Utah Jazz. Well, we have been to a few games last year and the boys have so much fun! This year of course we had an extra one to keep entertained. :-) He seemed to enjoy the game too, or at least the atmosphere.
Come on, smile Korbs!! :-D
Then there is the issue of the Flash Fox. The boys absolutely love the fox. Last year Konner got to pull it's tail and the fox rubbed Derek's head. They have so much fun looking for the fox and waiting to see where he will show up next. The fox likes to tease the fans (like the picture, he borrowed someone's camera and took a bunch of pictures of the owner and of himself..) Before this on the other side of the court, I saw him take a girl by the hand and get on one knee and kiss her hand and get up and run away. He is just a silly character and great for the kids and the adult I guess... :-)
Yeah, he is pointing at me. A guy that Kenley knows was yelling for him, and he happened to see me with my camera, and pointed at me, winked then he ran away again. Just silly! :-)
These guys right here (# 22) Morris Almond and the guy below him in the picture that has the team, (# 41) Kosta Koufos, are call backs from the Jazz. When they are called back down to the D-League, it's usually because the Jazz don't have enough room on their regular roster, like when a guy comes back from injured-reserve. They are still great athletes and fun to watch. Knowing Derek, he is probably looking for the fox...
